I modified one with a piece of elastic so when the wind blows, it did not blow off like it did previously. This hat is very functional for a bald guy with hearing aids. (warmth in northern climates; protected hearing aids from wind, snow, than rain; than saved me from sunburn in tropics, all this in one day of traveling.)
