Got this tub to hold drinks for events and it's a beautiful looking tub. HAs a great shine to it and the handles makes it easy to carry and move around. There are some blemishes from the finish but not noticeable. The quality is decent. I thought it would be heavier and more sturdy. Does seem a bit flimsy and there are areas where I think it might be prone to rust if not well-taken care of. Overall, a beautiful looking tub and at a size where it's great to hold drinks and other items.Physically, this tub is even larger than I expected - plenty of room for lots of wine or champagne bottles, and it has a veritable horde of smaller beer or soda pop cans and bottles. Filled up with bottles and ice, it's too heavy to move readily, so figure out the right party location before filling it. It's pretty and brightly mirrored, so it makes a good centerpiece. No signs of leaking so far, but I will follow up this review if it springs a leak as that would make it useless for me except for patio parties.The difference between this tub and more expensive varieties is wall thickness. A high-end model will be double walled using thicker steel and will have a significant air gap between the walls, maybe even an insulating substance filling that gap. This tub is double-walled, sure, but the metal sheets are thin and basically folded over onto themselves with (as far as I can tell) zero spacing. This simply is not going to meaningfully insulate the contents on a hot day. Still you get what you pay for, and this is pretty nice tub for the price.This pedestal tub is perfect for hosting parties! I think it could easily hold 20 bottles + ice. It looks nice and the neutral silver exterior could pair well with any theme. The large handles make it easy to move around.The cons: It does not feel like an insulated tub - it seems like a solid silver material. I also noticed 7 “spots” at the bottom of the tub. I assume it is for connecting the top to the pedestal bottom. It worries me they may rust over time. Those two things are why I gave the product 4 stars.This metal tub is polished and attractive. It's a beautiful way to display chilled beverages for guests. I couldn't tell if it's insulated. But even if it were, with the top completely open, it really nullifies any insulation benefits. There is really nothing to keep the cold in and hot out.Still it's a great way to display beverages. I keep more in an sealed Igloo to refill this bucket.This ice tub is large and just what I needed. We are using it for a wedding reception to put bottles on ice. It looks very well made and will be great for the wedding!It is way too hot, way too early (116 degrees at review time). It is not entirely lost on me the ironic name of "Sol" for this big beautiful bucket. And I do not refer to the term abbreviated by "s.o.l.".Big enough to chill several bottles of water and champagne quickly. And it looks great. It handles the weight and the ice melts slowly thanks to the fine design.The beverage tub is sizable, I used this for a baby shower and in 4 hours the ice stayed and there were no leaks!
