Immediately noticed on two of the 5 rolls received that at the perforated lines between each bag in the roll, that the bottom of each bag had a distinct heat seal defect on both opposing edges. This manufacturing defect results in the bottom of each bag has the potential to be compromised and leak which did occur during initial usage. In order to overcome this manufacturing defect, each bag requires careful manual detachment at the perforation (between each bag of the roll) in order not to tear a hole in the bag bottom which results in a bag that leaks. I received these liners right in time to brine some chicken quarters for smoking. Minimize clean up and sanitation. Fantastic, right? Prepped the brine, added it to the lined bucket with a few scoops of ice cubes and added 2 quartered chickens. Checked about 4 hours later and noted the brine had permeated the liner and now filled the bucket. Really?!? Not impressed.These liners are ridiculously thin and over priced for what you get. Plan to double or triple them for any brining application that involves meat with a bone. I'm sure bacon or loin meat would be fine. But chicken quarters, ribs, T-Bone, Cowboy Steak... fugetaboutit. Not gonna happen.A true one star product, you get a bonus star for being BPA free. Yay. Thanks. :(Not as durable, as needed.
